In 2008, Global Wind Power started a large in-house work process reassessing the mission, vision and values of the company, including an HR process embracing employee as well as a "good management" process. All of this was done in order to prepare Global Wind Power for the new role as an international group creating windturbine investment projects on a world market which is constantly developing.

During this process it has been important to remember the development Global Wind Power has gone through. It is the great and small events of the past as well as successes and defeats that have shaped the company and that are the foundation on which we, as a company, think and act today.

This is the reason for us to write the story of the company, in the beginning aiming at our employees, but now also published in order to give our customers and partners a greater understanding of the mission and the values on which we build our future.
