Global Wind Power has opened new division in Herning

1 March Global Wind Power opened a new and larger technical division in Herning - Global Wind Power Management. Our new offices are located in the Innovatorium in Birk, close to Herning.

Global Wind Power has sold wind farm to Allianz

The German insurance company Allianz has acquired wind farm Schönwalde from a wind farm developer and manager, Global Wind Power, Thisted/Denmark. Schönwalde wind farm is located near Lübben, Brandenburg, Germany. The wind farm has a total output capacity of 22 megawatts, and comprises eleven Vestas V90-2MW wind turbines. It is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2007.

Global Wind Power has moved into the new office building

In May 2008 the new office building was taken into use in May 2008. This brand new four storey high building is connected with the two existing office buildings in the centre of Thisted.
